Livin’ Lite is a company that manufactures ultra lightweight campers and is based in Wakarusa, Indiana. The firm is able to provide the ultra lightweight campers by using an all aluminum construction along with composites and no use of wood whatsoever. This has the advantage of not only being light but also no rotting of wood which will eventually lead to a damaged camper. The company’s campers are designed to last for decades.

Since the campers are all aluminum there is no worry when it comes to washing it. They have tongue-and-groove aluminum flooring. The seat cushions are also constructed out of marine-grade vinyl which makes them weather-proof and durable.  To keep the campers strong and robust a variety of aluminum part are used including aluminum tubes of varying length and thickness.

What makes the campers very relevant in today’s time is their light weight is ideal for vehicles we now have on the road which are more fuel efficient and also light weight. The engines in today’s cars may also be smaller.

In fact Livin’ Lite even makes campers that can be towed by certain types of motorcycles.  At the other end it makes huge toy haulers which include dry bath and full LP appliances with dual 20lb. LP tanks.

The firm’s lightest camper product is the Quick Silver Tent Campers.  The Quicksilver 2.0 is their truly ultra lightweight camping. While compact it enlarges to a 14 foot tent that has sleeping as well as living area.  The largest in this product line is the 18SUT which can sleep six and has a front deck (9’.6’ x 8’) with optional aluminum decking and removable ramp.

Other product lines include the Camplite Trailers, Truck Camper, Quicksilver VRV and the largest the Axxess Toy Hauler that provides all the amenities of a huge camper while at the same time is still relatively light.

The company not only manufactures durable campers but given today’s high energy cost having a lightweight camper which will require less energy or fuel burned to haul makes it a compelling choice.
